Interim Chief Financial Officer

Morgan Demkey is a driven, solutions-oriented leader who fosters teamwork and initiative to make work engaging and rewarding for his team and the organization. Morgan joined IRD (now Quarterhill) in 2021 as Director of Finance, and transitioned VP of Operations in 2024. With over 10 years of experience, Morgan thrives on challenges and leverages his financial expertise to enhance operational efficiency, including mergers and acquisitions and international operations. As Quarterhill expands, Morgan and his team actively seek input and expertise from across the company to drive growth and innovation.

Prior to joining Quarterhill in 2024, Joey was the VP of Operations for Skydweller Aero Inc., the night vision portfolio director for BAE Systems, as well as a program manager and chief engineer for US Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Aircraft Armament Equipment (AAE). Joey holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Electrical Engineering from Texas Christian University (TCU), and a Master’s of Science in Systems Engineering from the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT).
